What is the difference between Similac® 360 Total Care® Gentle Comfort and Similac Pro-Total Comfort®?
Both formulas are designed to help reduce fussiness and gas related to lactose sensitivity. Also, both have partially broken-down protein to support easy digestion.
Similac 360 Total Care Gentle Comfort has our exclusive blend of 5 HMO prebiotics that are structurally identical to 5 of those found in breast milk. It is designed to be our most gentle formula that has our closest prebiotic blend to breast milk. Similac Pro-Total Comfort has one HMO prebiotic (2’-FL), along with the prebiotic fructooligosaccharides (FOS), which is a type of dietary fiber.
What is the difference between Similac 360 Total Care Gentle Comfort and Similac Gentle Comfort?
Both formulas provide complete nutrition for babies and are designed to help reduce fussiness and gas related to lactose sensitivity. Both also have partially hydrolyzed whey protein to help with easy digestion.
Similac 360 Total Care Gentle Comfort has our exclusive blend of 5 HMO prebiotics, which are structurally identical to five of those in breast milk. Similac Gentle Comfort has a different prebiotic, fructooligosaccharide (FOS), and does not include HMOs.
Is Similac Pro-Total Comfort being discontinued?
Yes, Similac Pro-Total Comfort is being replaced by Similac 360 Total Care Gentle Comfort. Both formulas are designed to help ease fussiness and gas related to lactose sensitivity. The difference is that the new formulation of Similac 360 Total Care Gentle Comfort is the ONLY gentle formula to have 5 HMOs, and is designed to help support your baby’s immune system, brain development, and gut health.
