At 2 months, your baby is coming to her “senses” in the best sense, continuing to take it all in and share it back out in ways that make each new day special for you both.
Feeding schedule: At 2 months of age, your baby will likely be drinking 4 to 5 fl oz of formula or breastmilk, 5 to 6 times a day.
Break the sounds barriers: Your baby loves to hear you speak, and talking to her is a great way to help build her language skills. Background sounds from the radio or TV can get in the way, so turn them down or off to help her language development.
She’s getting to know you—and vice versa.
While still in the womb, your baby used many of her senses to get to know you. Now, she’s taking in everything in her “outside” world. She’ll be using this information to begin to communicate with you as best she can.
